The owners of D & M Lawn & Snow Services are interested in helping those who struggle with lawn care and snow removal by way of "The Good Neighbour Program". Working with neighbouring communities, the intent is to help senior, disabled or otherwise struggling home owners with their lawn care needs. The aim of the program is to enable those to stay in their own homes longer as well as to bring the community together.
A local company, Dave and Melissa Bickell are based from Sedgewick. Working with numberous Flagstaff municipalities they are hoping for additonal support of the program by way of:
- Becoming a Volunteer in the program to help out your neighbours
- Becoming a Sponsor with donation of equipment
- Becomming a Sponsor by Cash Donation - (average cost of a mowed lawn is $20)
