Public Works will be flushing hydrants over the next few days in the Town of Killam. Water users may notice temporary fluctuations in water pressure or slight water discolouration. Hydrant Flushing is an annual maintenance procedure to circulate the water in the town's waterlines. Circulating the water helps keep odour and discolouration to a minimum. Additionally, it ensures that the Towns hydrants are is functioning order, just in case they are ever needed!
